I’m getting faster

I am so impressed with those people who have something to write about on their blogs every single day, haha! Wish I was one of those people. Someday. Anyway, so far February has been treating me right. I wrote down a few “February goals” at the beginning of the month, and I am doing my best to do what it takes to reach them.

On Tuesday I went to the gym with my dad. He was on the elliptical while I ran on the treadmill next to him. This run was amazing, both my legs and my brain was loving it! I am getting better at running faster for longer time periods on the treadmill now, which is a really nice feeling. Yesterday (Thursday) I went to the gym with my mom. She is still not 100% free from being sick, but she’s feeling a lot better than she did last week. We ran some intervals and did some comfortable running. We ran for 60 minutes. By the end I was sweating like a crazy person, absolutely lovely, haha!
Today after work I went to this random sushi restaurant with one of my friends. I am obsessed with sushi, it’s one of my all time favorite foods. Of course, being a vegetarian and everything, I always pick the avocado rolls. I love avocado rolls, they are the best! And don’t be all “avocado rolls aren’t real sushi!” – to me it is!

Tomorrow I’m going on a little road trip to Sweden with my dad, my brother, and my boyfriend. I’m hoping to find some new running tights and the new s’mores flavored Questbar. They’re sold out on the website where I normally order my Questbars from, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

  1. I feel the same way…sometimes I take days off or a whole week because there doesn’t seem to be much to say!

  2. Although I don’t love the treadmill, I love how good of a sweat I can get from running on it! Sounds like you’ve been doing great on them!

    I don’t like many bloggers who post every day; I’d rather read someone who posts when they have something to say!!

  6. I’ve never tried a Quest bar. I hope your road trip was fun! You are really getting quite speedy on that treadmill! You will be able to crush a 10K outside in Spring I bet πŸ™‚
